The Joanna Award recognizes the collaborative efforts of first responders in an emergency situation. The 2010 Joanna Award honored people who saved the life of Eric Mrozek, a SUNY Brockport student. Channel 8 covered the event online and on TV in How Many People Does it Take to Save One Life?
