Dear Emergency Responders,

Attending the STEP EMS Conference isn’t just about continuing education sessions, but we all know how important those Continuing Medical Education credits are when it’s time to recertify. For that reason, Certified Instructor Coordinator Bob Breese the conference Co Chair has reviewed the content for the sessions to ensure that each will qualify for CME credit.

Being at the conference also gives you the opportunity to see old friends, and to network with new ones. It’s a chance to check out new products at the vendor area and bid at the silent auction. The MLREMS Awards Banquet Friday evening gives us the opportunity to honor those in our profession who have contributed in significant ways.

The Conference will again host a two-day silent auction. Those wishing to donate items or assist can contact Jackie Coates, Auction Chair, at jcoates@frontiernet.net or contact STEP through the website.

One of the most repeated requests in the post conference surveys from last year was to bring back the Fire Track, and STEP has done that. I urge you to review the Conference schedule for details.
